Connecting Social Accounts
Connect Instagram and Facebook accounts to Creator Studio.
Supported Platforms
- Instagram - Via Facebook Graph API (Business/Creator accounts)
- Facebook - Pages only (not personal profiles)
- TikTok - Via TikTok OAuth
- YouTube - Via Google OAuth
How to Connect
- Go to Profiles → Add Profile
- Click Connect Account for your platform
- Authorize via OAuth:
- Facebook/Instagram: Select accounts/pages to connect
- TikTok: Authorize TikTok account
- YouTube: Authorize Google account
- Profile auto-populates
Requirements
- Must be Business or Creator account (not personal)
- Must be linked to a Facebook Page
- Admin access required
- Must be a Page (not personal profile)
- Admin or Editor role required
TikTok
- Personal or Business account
- Basic permissions (advanced features need app review)
YouTube
- YouTube channel required
- Google account authorization
Profile Settings
After connecting:
- Set display name
- Configure timezone
- Enable/disable posting
- Assign to brand (optional)
Connection Issues
Account not showing:
- Verify it's a Business/Creator account
- Check Facebook Page connection
- Ensure you have admin access
Connection expired:
- Reconnect via OAuth
- Facebook tokens expire periodically
Can't post:
- Check profile is active (not paused)
- Verify permissions granted
- Ensure account isn't restricted
Limitations
- No automatic token refresh
- No bulk connection management
- Basic connection status only
- No engagement metrics import
